NESN supports an evolving culture of innovation and inclusion through teamwork and learning. Discover more about the ways we incorporate teamwork and diversity of background, thought and experience into our culture whether it be through our Teams or photos from various activities.
Teamwork
We are proud to offer a wide range of opportunities for our employees to get involved and get to know one another better. Whether it is joining one of our committees or attending a themed Monthly Social (we’ve had everything from a Cereal Bar to Sports Trivia), we make sure our Company Calendar stays full!
NESN’s Teams:
Employees are able to join one of NESN’s Team as soon as they join NESN. We have several employees who are members in more than one Team and they help put on events for their own groups as well as the company as a whole.
Employees Making Change
NESN’s employee resource group, Employees Making Change seeks to promote, celebrate & empower NESN employees who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). EMC elevates the diverse voices of its members through open dialogue, shared experience, and engaging discussions – fostering a safe, authentic, and supportive professional community with the intention of increasing BIPOC visibility within the NESN organization. Recognizing the many talents and contributions of EMC members to the broader company’s success, EMC provides opportunities for growth and development through networking, professional development, and mentorship. In championing corporate inclusivity, upholding racial equity and sponsoring BIPOC success at NESN, we are the change we wish to see.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
NESN is committed to DEI. The DEI team’s goal is to expand diversity, equity and inclusion practices through education, awareness, and integration throughout NESN’s business. You can learn more about our efforts by reading through the Our Commitment to DEI section of this website.
Minor Leagues
The Minor Leagues (our young professionals group) seeks to provide employees with professional development and social opportunities via a group of like-minded individuals who support one another’s personal and professional growth. Our Minor Leagues committee not only hosts helpful events like Financial Wellness Seminars, but also supports local events like the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl.
Women of NESN
Our Women of NESN group, which is part of our DEI efforts, plans quarterly events to connect the women who work at NESN. Whether it is going bowling and building professional networks or crafting and discussing the ways women can support one another, the group is committed to giving women in our industry a strong group to rely upon.
NESN Connects
NESN Connects is committed to improving New England communities by supporting team foundations and other organizations focused on health, basic needs and community ideals. NESN Connects helps employees partake in events like the Watertown Police 5K, Jimmy Fund Telethon and more!
